Dabbledoo Media is seeking an editor for Gadgetell.com.

We are searching for an editor who can take the site to the next level. Our goal is to be the one-stop-shop for everything tech - from consumer electronic news to Vista hacks and web applications to hands on reviews.

The roles and responsibilities of this position are:

-30-40% editing and publishing content
-20-30% writer relations (training, on-boarding, troubleshooting)
-30% promotion (content promotion, networking with competitive sites, working with PR agencies for reviews/interviews/etc.)

The ideal candidate will:

-have knowledge of consumer electronics products including cellphones/smartphones, digital cameras, laptops/notebooks, web applications, and portable media players
-possess an unique/creative writing style.
-be extremely proficient in the English language (spelling, grammar, sentence structure).
-be able to contribute at least 4 hours per day.
-stay up to date on current news stories and have background knowledge on electronics products and brief tech history.
-be willing to take an active role in the site as well as the greater Dabbledoo media network.
-have experience managing a team of approx. 15 writers and motivating a team via remote contact (Skype, IM, email)
-be creative and knowledgeable in coming up with ways to drive traffic (social networks, SEO, forging partnerships)

Pay-schedule:
By the 15th of the following month and compensation is flat rate that increases with actual monthly impressions.
